Will INOX Jewelry tarnish?
No. INOX Jewelry is made of high-quality stainless steel which is much more corrosion resistant than the more common lower grades of stainless steel.
Can INOX Jewelry scratch?
Yes, but not like gold or silver. Stainless steel is much harder than gold and silver but still can scratch.
Why are some rings rounded inside and some are not?
The rounded inside of a ring is called Comfort Fit band. The rounded inside allows for a more comfortable fit. Some rings, due to its design, can be made as a Comfort Fit band. Traditionally, Comfort Fit bands are more expensive than non-comfort fit.
Can the rings be resized or stretched?
No. Stainless steel rings cannot be resized or stretched.
What sizes are available for the INOX rings?
Only whole sizes from 9-13 for the men’s rings and 5-9 for the women’s. Only a hand full are available in half sizes.
What is the black and gold metals?
Any metal that is is black, gold or colors other than the steel color is stainless steel with an IP Plating. This is a more sturdy way of changing the outside color of stainless steel than traditional plating which adds a thickness of a material (ie. Gold) which can easily scratch or wear off.
What kind of stones are used in the jewelry?
The stones used in the INOX jewelry are cubic zirconias.
What is IP Plating?
IP Plating or Ion plating is a vacuum deposition process where a material like gold is vaporized in a vacuum chamber and absorbed into the surface of the metal.
What size do the bracelets come in?
Most INOX bracelets come in the standard 8.5 inches for men and 7 inches for women.
Are the bracelets adjustable?
Some INOX bracelets are adjustable. The most common way to adjust the INOX bracelets are similar to many watches. Some bracelets also have adjustable links that allow the consumer to adjust the bracelet to the size they want. Bracelets with a rivet cannot be adjusted.
Can you wear INOX jewelry in a pool or the ocean?
Since INOX is made with 316L stainless steel, the steel will not tarnish or react to the chlorine or salt water but some inlays like wood may not perform as well.
Is the INOX Jewelry hypo-allergenic?
Stainless steel is very hypo-allergenic and are perfect for people with nickel allergies which is very common.
